Rare Single Pontil Spiderweb 3-Color Gutta Percha w/ an Intricate Black, Red & Yellow Pattern. The Pontil ends (a weakly used term) typically have 2 seam lines at the ends, but this one has just one like some of the ultra-rare large ones do!  These marbles are very hard to find and and highly sought after, dating from the mid to late 1800’s and made from a polymer material from the sap of a tree native to Asia, Australia and New Zealand. Very Bold & Striking design from a Paper Mache transfer. Surface irregularities are normal and typical, there is no play damage noted.
