Incredibly Rare CHERRY RED GLASS Naked 4-Razor-Ribbon Divided Core Swirl. This is a very very rare marble, as gold was required to make the red glass and only was done during the early period of German handmade marble making circa 1850-1860 when craftsmanship was up utmost importance. Red glass was phased out as it became economically unfeasible and the glass was exceptionally brittle. Very few were made and fewer survived! Few collections have a red glass swirl. Mint- with only a flea or two and tiny sparkle.
