ULTRA RARE Red Cased Mica with central white ribbon and blue stripes in the red. Heavy casing glass can be seen when the marble is placed underwater to remove the refractive index of the glass that makes the core “appear” to fill the marble (pictures with light color background). Early faceted pontil, and mint original surface! This is only the 2nd Cased Red Mica I have seen in 40 years of collecting, and the ONLY MINT one I’ve ever seen! Most collectors (even advanced ones) have never seen one.
