Huge 2-1/8″ Rare Headless Dog Sulphide with a yellowish white string that extends from the pontil that looks like a leash. Factor Error – the sulphide was intentionally placed into the marble without its head! Nicely silvered and Bubble-Free. Early Faceted Pontil, circa 1850-1870’s. Wet Mint- with a shiny original surface and only 2 shallow bruises that are hidden from the viewing side. Coin to show size, not included.
