Early Period Unglazed Plaid China with Wide Intersecting Bands of Black, Red & Green and parallel offset rings of the same color on each side of the wide central band, creating a plaid pattern, circa 1850-75. This period is also characterized by having perfectly smooth round bisque with dimple and blemish-free surfaces. Every area of the marbles surface is covered with rings or bands. Minor fading in some areas.
